Range

Vagrant: known from several specimens observed off of southern Brazil. Establishment of a viable population is not likely.

Other Notes

According to Leite et al. (2009), this species established a population of a few individuals from 2007-2008 but has since not be rediscovered. Most likely these represent vagrants and do not breed in the region.
